Refund Policies

Refund policies for each program are listed below. If you have any questions about these policies please contact the club treasurer.

2025-2026 Registration

REFUNDS: If a parent or legal guardian request for a player to withdraw from the AHSHA High School hockey league after registering, for any reason, a withdrawal request form must be completed online. A request to withdraw made to a Team Coach or Manager is not valid, anyone requesting a withdrawal from the league to a Team Coach or Manager will still be responsible for the the full season fees of $2,149 until properly withdrawn. Refunds will be based on the date AHSHA receives the withdrawal request and will be refunded based on a graduated refund scale as shown below: Withdrawal before August 1st: If a registered player request to withdraw from the league before August 1st the parent and/or guardian will not be refunded the $550 deposit collected at registration. In addition, a $100 administrative fee will be charged, plus you will be charged for any uniform, equipment, apparel and accessories that may have already been issued to the player for the upcoming year. All fees listed must be paid in full to be in good standing with AHSHA and to receive a financial release from the organization. Withdrawal before September 1st: If a registered player request to withdraw from the league between August 1st and before September 1st the parent and/or guardian will be held liable for 50% of the total registration fee of $2,149. In addition, a $100 administrative fee will be charged, plus you will be charged for any uniform, equipment, apparel and accessories that may have already been issued to the player for the upcoming year. All fees listed must be paid in full to be in good standing with AHSHA and to receive a financial release from the organization. Withdrawal before October 1st: If a registered player request to withdraw for the league between September 1st and before October 1st the parent and/or guardian will still be held liable for 75% of the total registration fee of $2,149. In addition, a $100 administrative fee will be charged, plus you will be charged for any uniform, equipment, apparel and accessories that may have already been issued to the player for the upcoming year. All fees listed must be paid in full to be in good standing with AHSHA and to receive a financial release from the organization. On or after October 1st: No refunds will be permitted. In addition, a $100 administrative fee will be charged, plus you will be charged for any uniform, equipment, apparel and accessories that may have already been issued to the player for the upcoming year. The $100 Administrative fee will be waived if the withdrawal meets any of the following guidelines: • Player lacks sufficient skills to play safely at the lowest league level and must be cut from the league by AHSHA. • Unexpected move out of the state of Arizona. • If a player suffers an injury while playing in an official AHSHA practice or game, that mayhinder his/her ability to continue playing. Injury withdrawals must be supported with paperwork from attending an attending physician. Refunds will not be issued for missed practices or games due to: • Short term injury, illness, or absences for USA Hockey, AHSHA, and/or team disciplinary actions • Scheduling conflicts that may occur due to personal commitments or participation on a travel team Any deficit/shortfall in fees due to a withdrawal must be paid to AHSHA within 15 days of a written refund request. Funds not collected will be forwarded to the Arizona Amateur Hockey Association Treasurer (AAHA) and the player will be placed on the AAHA “Do Not Play list”. The Executive Committee or Board of Directors will review any written request for an appeal.
