2025-2026 SafeSport

The safety of its participants is of paramount importance to USA Hockey and AHSHA. USA Hockey Safe Sport is the organization's program related to off-ice safety. 

Each team within a Program must have at least 2 SafeSport Locker Room Monitors. If your team has female players, a separate SafeSport Monitor is required for the female locker room as well

SafeSport Monitors are required to complete the following training and requirements:   

 AHSHA and USA Hockey SafeSport Locker Room Monitor Requirements:

1. USA Hockey Volunteer Registration (Deadline 9/30)
2. USA Hockey SafeSport Certification (Deadline 8/15, Renew/Refresh Every Year)
3. Complete USA Hockey Background Screening (Deadline 8/15, Renew Every 2 Years)
4. Upon Completion the above mentioned requirements, please submit the AHSHA SafeSport Locker Room Monitor Application below. (Deadline 9/30)

SafeSport Monitors that have not fully completed all of the required documents and training will be will not be able to participate as a SafeSport Locker Room Monitor until all requirements are met.

NOTE.... If you do not plan on completing both the Background Screening and SafeSport Certification, please DO NOT complete the SafeSport Locker Room Monitor Application.
