Body Contact ~ Checking Clinic

These one-day clinics are the perfect opportunity to get a baseline understanding of body contact and body checking, while in a safe and effective environment. Body contact is an essential skill in the game of hockey, and this clinic will help build the confidence to give and receive checks safely and effectively.

Eligibility: All 26-27 Registered AHSHA players are eligible to sign up.

With limited spots, please only sign up for one day: Each day will be the exact same practice plan.

Full USAH approved protective equipment must be worn at all skates. Including neck laceration protection.

No refunds will be granted after registration is completed. No discounts will be offered if a player cannot attend all of the skates within a session.

These sessions are considered private ice and are not covered under USAH insurance. All players participate at their own risk.

AHSHA coaches will be present for all sessions.

Poor player behavior could lead to disciplinary action for the 2026-2027 AHSHA season.
